1. Overview
We want you to be confident in your purchase. This Refund Policy explains how to request a return or cancellation for products and services purchased from Quiet Cove Works via our Site or by direct invoice.
2. Eligibility window
- Physical goods (if offered): return requests must be initiated within 14 days of delivery.
- Digital products (downloads, templates, presets): refundable within 14 days only if the item has not been downloaded, activated, or otherwise accessed. Once accessed, downloads are generally non‑refundable, except where defective or required by applicable consumer law.
- Services (editing, consulting): cancellations are possible before work begins. If work has started, a pro‑rata refund may apply minus time spent and any non‑recoverable costs. Deposits and rush/booking fees are typically non‑refundable.
3. Non‑returnable items
- Gift cards or promotional credits.
- Perishable or personalized items produced to your specification (unless defective).
- Software licenses once activated or registered to your account/machine.
- Downloadable content after access or download is logged.
4. Condition of returned items (physical goods)
Items must be returned in the same condition as received, with original packaging and all accessories. We may deduct a reasonable restocking fee for missing or damaged components where permitted by law.
5. How to start a return or cancellation
- Email [email protected] with your order/invoice number, item(s), and reason for return or cancellation.
- We will provide next steps and, if applicable, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) and return address.
- For physical goods, ship the item within 14 days of RMA issuance. Use a trackable service and keep the receipt. You are responsible for return shipping unless the item is defective or we sent the wrong item.
6. Refunds and timing
- Once we receive and inspect your return (or confirm digital/service eligibility), we will notify you of approval or rejection.
- Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Bank processing times may vary.
- Partial refunds may apply for used/damaged goods beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
7. Exchanges
If you received a defective or damaged item, we will replace it or offer an equivalent solution where available. Contact us immediately with photos and a description of the issue.
8. Defective digital products
If a digital download is corrupted or does not function as described, contact us within 14 days. We will provide a working replacement or a refund if we cannot remedy the issue.
9. Service changes, delays, and force majeure
If a service cannot be delivered due to client delay (e.g., missing assets, approvals) beyond agreed timelines, we may reschedule subject to availability. If delivery is prevented by events beyond our control (force majeure), schedules may shift; refunds will be handled case‑by‑case considering work already completed and non‑recoverable costs.
10. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. Many issues can be resolved quickly with a replacement, adjustment, or partial refund where appropriate.
11. Consumer rights
Nothing in this policy affects rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws (e.g., UK Consumer Rights Act, EU consumer directives). Where those laws provide additional rights, they will apply.
